For my graphic design portfolio, I created a brand guide for this website. I have done multiple re-brands and tweaks since the blog’s creation and never drew much attention to the look of it.
But I don’t want to let the new design go unnoticed. I created a logo, updated the fonts (it’s no longer two different serif fonts. Yikes…), and streamlined the color pallette.
I wanted to share the document I made to explain some of my creative choices. Though website design is not my intended feild of study in grad school, I have had a lot of fun updating this site. I will be constantly making minor updates, hopefully adding the fish in more places. And maybe in the future, I will create merch like what I designed.
