Never miss out
Get an email update with every blog post to never miss Kate’s writing.
Welcome to the blog!
Kate DeHaan (she/they) is an aspiring author of queer, fantasy novels. You can find her published personal essays on the post calvin. She also has a co-authored article in the English Journal called “Real Writers: Perceptions of Writer Identity“.
Kate grew up writing and editing poems until they were practically illegible. She feels her lyrical background heavily inspires her prose. When she isn’t writing, Kate is attending graphic design classes at SCAD, swimming in cold bodies of water, and collecting knick-knacks to fill her already cluttered apartment.
